butterfly
فراشة/ˈbʌtərflaɪ/ بَتَرْفلايI know butterflies are colorful and bright.
🔗 اربطها بـbutter (زبدة) + fly (يطير) — تخيّل فراشة صفراء طريّة كالزبدة تطير في الهواء.
beetle
خنفساء/ˈbiːtl/ بِيتِلI know beetles are heavy and strong.
🔗 اربطها بـتخيّل خنفساء صغيرة تحمل بيتها الصلب الثقيل فوق ظهرها.
wing
جناح/wɪŋ/ وِينجSome insects have wings and can fly.

🔗 اربطها بـقريبة جدًا من العربية «ديناصور» — استخدم التشابه لحفظها فورًا.
extinct
منقرض/ɪkˈstɪŋkt/ إكستِنكتThey can't be seen anymore. They're extinct!
🔗 اربطها بـمن نفس أصل extinguish (يُطفئ) — انطفأ آخر فرد من هذا الكائن.
tortoise
سلحفاة برّية/ˈtɔːrtəs/ تورتِسIt doesn't have wings! It's a tortoise, not a turtle — tortoises walk on land, turtles swim.
🔗 اربطها بـفرّق بينها وبين turtle: tortoise تعيش على اليابسة، turtle تسبح بالماء.

furry
